Sage + Stone is an iOS application that helps users discover clinical trials listed on ClinicalTrials.gov that may match their health profile. Sage + Stone provides:
Sage + Stone does not enroll users in clinical trials, guarantee trial acceptance, manage trial participation, or provide any healthcare services.
The information provided by Sage + Stone, including trial match scores, eligibility assessments, and health data analysis, is for informational purposes only. Nothing in Sage + Stone constitutes:

All clinical trial listings displayed in Sage + Stone are sourced from ClinicalTrials.gov, the public registry operated by the U.S. National Library of Medicine. Sage + Stone:
Clinical trial participation is entirely voluntary. Any agreement, consent, or contract for trial participation is exclusively between you and the trial sponsor. Sage + Stone is not a party to any such agreement.
Compensation figures displayed are estimates based on publicly reported ranges and are not guarantees. Actual compensation depends solely on the trial sponsor's policies, your participation, and the terms you agree to with the sponsor.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Sage + Stone. By using Sage + Stone, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. Sage + Stone is not intended for use by minors. We reserve the right to terminate accounts we believe belong to users under 18.

Sage + Stone reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Sage + Stone offers the following plans:
New Pro subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. The trial automatically converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled before the trial expires. No refund is issued for charges incurred after the trial period ends if cancellation was not completed in time.
All billing is processed by Apple's App Store. Sage + Stone does not collect or store payment information. Subscription charges are debited from your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period. Prices may change with notice.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Sage + Stone → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Pro features until the period ends. No partial refunds are issued for unused subscription time.
For refund requests, contact Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com. Sage + Stone cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases.

Sage + Stone and all of its content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to the app design, source code, algorithms, brand elements, and documentation) are owned by Sage + Stone and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Clinical trial data is sourced from ClinicalTrials.gov and is subject to NLM/NIH terms of use. Apple Health data belongs to you and is accessed only under the permissions you grant through HealthKit.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Sage + Stone app for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Sage + Stone integrates with or links to third-party services including ClinicalTrials.gov (NIH) and Apple's HealthKit and StoreKit frameworks. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Sage + Stone is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
Sage + Stone is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sage + Stone disclaims all warranties including but not limited to:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sage + Stone and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
In no event shall Sage + Stone's total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for Sage + Stone in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold Sage + Stone and its developer harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of Sage + Stone; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your participation in any clinical trial; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.
Before initiating any formal dispute proceeding, you agree to contact Sage + Stone at support@sageplusstone.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days of receiving notice.
If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or Sage + Stone shall be finally resolved by binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in English. The arbitration will be held in the United States.
You waive any right to bring or participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Sage + Stone. All disputes must be resolved on an individual basis.
Either party may seek emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm without waiving arbitration rights for the underlying claim.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. For disputes not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of federal or state courts located in the United States.
Sage + Stone reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notice and by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of Sage + Stone after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using Sage + Stone.
